ROYAL MARINES CHARITY - BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE
After the huge success of last years pilot event we are incredibly excited to be running another Royal Marines Charity PRMC challenge at the Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club on Saturday the 22nd June 2019. All proceeds raised will be donated to the Royal Marines Charity. This event is open to absolutely anyone, from any walk of life, providing they are over 18 years of age.
The challenge is based around the PRMC (Potential Royal Marines Course) and it will give you an indication of what to expect if you were to attend a PRMC at Lympstone. It is being run by Royal Marines PTI's and it will give you a taste of the PRMC without the pressure. Also, if you are considering a career in the military, you will be able to guage your current fitness level, giving you more confidence in your own ability or it will highlight elements that may require more training.
You will go head to head over 5 stations. The stations will follow the training and ethos of the Royal Marines and we would like to open up this event to anyone who would like to have a bash at it. We won't kill you - it is just a bit of fun! You can enter as a team (maximum of 6) or if you're desperate to have a go but can't get anyone to join you, then don't worry ..... sign up individually and we will make up teams on the day. Please refer to the training videos and tutorials on FB & this website, they will help you with technique and training.
COST: ENTRY £37.90 + MINIMUM SPONSORSHIP £25pp
This event will be manned by Royal Marines Reserves Bristol, Royal Marines (CTCRM) former Royal Marines and Royal Marine cadets & staff and other volunteers.
